Solid Butyl rubber is a synthetic rubber. It is a co polymer of Isobutylene with isoprene and is impervious solid butyl rubber with good flexible properties.

Solid Butyl Rubber has excellent resistance to ozone, UV light and weathering along with high chemical resistance.

Solid Butyl Rubber also performs particularly well with applications involving extreme temperatures.

Solid Butyl Rubber is black in colour with a hardness of 65 shore and is supplied in rolls 1.4 mtr x 20 mtr and 1.4 mtr x 10 mtr depending upon the chosen thickness, the most common thicknesses are 1mm, 1.5mm, 3mm and 6mm.
