Compressed Non Asbestos Fibre (C.N.A.F)

This product is often referred to under its abbreviated name of NAF or CNAF.

This umbrella covers a wide range of asbestos free jointing materials that are manufactured using a Fibres Jointing Material - Non Asbestos FibreNon Asbestos Fibremultitude of different fibres and binders in order to produce unique materials that cover a wide range of applications.

C.N.A.F can be used in many environments and applications involving hydrocarbons such as oils, solvents, water, steam and gases and has good chemical resistance to acids and alkalis.

Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets we stock a vast range of grades of C.N.A.F with a common sheet size of 2000mm x 1500mm. Its thicknesses can range from 0.25mm through to 3mm.

Depending upon your requirement we are also able to supply the material with a fine mild steel reinforcement for additional mechanical strength.

Our “in house” technology allows us to offer almost any size, shape and product format to the customers and along with our ability to adhesive coat this material, we are confident that we can offer the exact product to suit your application.
